Who Is Dr Rhema Haven?

Hi. I’m Dr Rhema Haven, a General Adult Psychiatrist, who is living and working in Australia (FRANZCP, FWACP, MSc Psych).

I am also licensed to practice Psychiatry in Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

After more than three decades living in Nigeria, my home country, I moved to Australia, where I now permanently reside. I have had fulfilling years of practice in a Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre and an Adult Mental Health Unit.

However, I am now exploring an evolving interest in Virtual Psychiatric Healthcare. As a mother, it allows for a good work-Life balance.

My special interests are Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

When I am not working, I am spending time with my young children. You probably thought “of course”. Also, I love to engage with my mutuals on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Whatsapp. I have a passion for community building and fostering safe havens for like minded people.

Beyond social interactions, I crave solitude and I am a homebody. I love photography curation, watching Korean and Chinese Drama, making and posting goofy dance videos, and writing reflections about my life’s experiences & observations.
